Alexus Groom

Born and raised in Southeast Missouri, Alexus developed a love for nature and all that the land has to offer at a young age. Camping, hunting, fishing, riding horses, and enjoying her family farm are some of the ways Alexus likes to take in the outdoors. While spending time away from home at Murray State University in Murray Kentucky, Alexus’ passion for the land grew stronger. This came with not only the degree she earned but also with working on the farm at the University. There she earned a Bachelors in Animal Science with a Food Animal Emphasis and a Minor in Ranch and Cattle Management. After college she took this knowledge along with her to then work for Tyson Foods as a Flock Advisor, this covered six to eight farms. She then went to the Mershon Cattle Co. in Buckner MO. Here she helped manage an eight thousand head herd spanning four states. Through both experiences this gave her knowledge to utilize the resources of the land to the highest ability of the property. Alexus is passionate about helping each person bring life to their dream of buying or selling.
